Weblocal.ca is a popular directory listing that allows you to find, rate, and share businesses in your area. The directory can be used as part of your local SEO strategy. This blog will show you, step by step, how to add your business to Weblocal.ca.
Scroll to the bottom of the home page, where you will see the option 'please add your business listing'.
You will be prompted to either Sign in with an existing Social Profile, sign in with an existing Weblocal.ca account, or create a new login for Weblocal.ca. If you already have an existing account, please proceed to Step 3.
To create a new login, click the 'Signing Up' option.
You will be prompted to either Register with an existing Social Profile, or by creating a new account on Weblocal.ca. Enter all applicable information, accept 'Terms of Use' statement, enter captcha, and click 'Register.'
You will see a message welcoming you to Weblocal.ca. At the bottom of the message, you will see a button to 'Continue' with your directory listing.
You will be prompted to confirm your account via the e-mail address you provided.
Note: This step must be completed before you can create a Business Listing.
If you have confirmed your e-mail and you have not been prompted to add your business, you can continue by scrolling to the bottom of the page, and re-clicking the 'please add your business listing' link as in Step 1.
Fill in all applicable fields. After you add your Business Address, a map will generate.
Note, Website URL will not accept 'https://', but will allow 'http://.'
Fill in the Captcha, hit 'Submit' button.
A new screen will appear, confirming listing submission.
